Clubs & Memberships

What is a club?

A club is the top-level organization on Q4Fun. It can represent a pickleball facility, YMCA chapter, yoga studio, kids fitness franchise, or any group that runs activities. Clubs manage their own members, events, facilities, and finances.

How do I create a club?

Click Create Club from the Clubs page. You need a club name and timezone. Once created, you become the club owner with full admin access.

What are the membership roles?

Clubs have five roles, from most to least access:

  • Owner — Full control including billing, archiving, and transferring ownership.
  • Admin — Manage events, members, facilities, and settings. Cannot archive the club.
  • Staff — Can manage events and check in participants. Cannot change settings.
  • Member — Joined the club. Can register for member-only events and get member pricing.
  • Visitor — Auto-created when someone signs a waiver, registers for a public event, or books a court. Limited access.

How do I join a club?

Visit the club's public page and click Join Club. Some clubs require approval (request mode), while others allow instant joining (open mode). If the club has membership tiers with pricing, you may need to pay to join.

What are membership tiers?

Clubs can create tiers (e.g., Basic, Premium, VIP) with different prices and billing intervals (monthly or annual). Each tier can have its own description and benefits. Admins manage tiers in Settings > Financials.

How does club visibility work?

Clubs can be public (anyone can see the page and browse events) ormembers only (only members can see content). Public events within a members-only club are still visible to non-members for registration purposes.

Can I be in multiple clubs?

Yes. Your Q4Fun account works across all clubs. You can hold different roles at different clubs (e.g., admin at one, member at another). Your Dashboard shows activity from all your clubs.

How do I invite people to my club?

Admins can send invite links via the club management page. Recipients get an email with a link to join. Every invite has a shareable link and copy button for easy distribution.

What happens when I leave a club?

Your membership is archived (not deleted). Your past registrations, scores, and waivers are preserved. You can rejoin later if the club allows it.
