Court Booking
How do I book a court?
Visit a club's page and click Book Courts, or go to the Book tab in the club management page. Select a date, choose a resource (court, field, room), and click an available time slot. Confirm your booking and pay if required.
Why don't I see any courts?
Courts only appear for booking if the club has created a booking template for that resource type and the resource is marked as bookable. Ask the club admin to set this up. See the Booking Templates FAQ for details.
What is the booking grid?
The booking grid shows a single day at a time, with resources as columns and time slots as rows. Green slots are available, gray are unavailable. Click a slot to start a booking. You can drag across multiple slots to book a longer block.
How is pricing calculated?
Pricing is per time slot (e.g., per 30-minute block), not per booking. If a 30-minute slot costs $10, booking a 1-hour block costs $20. Members may get a different (usually lower) rate than visitors. Peak hours may have higher pricing.
What are peak hours?
Clubs can configure peak and off-peak hours per day of the week. Slots during peak hours charge the peak price. All other times charge the off-peak price. If no peak hours are configured, everything is off-peak.
How far in advance can I book?
This is set by the club's booking template. Members typically get a longer advance window than visitors (e.g., members can book 14 days out, visitors 7 days).
Is there a booking limit?
Clubs can set a maximum number of bookings per user per day per resource type. For example, you might be limited to 2 court bookings per day. This prevents one person from monopolizing court time.
How do I cancel a booking?
Go to your booking (from the Dashboard or Bookings page) and click Cancel. Refund eligibility depends on the club's refund policy:
- Cancel before the no-refund window → full refund.
- Cancel within the no-refund window → no refund (unless within the grace period after booking).
- Cancel within the grace period after placing the booking → full refund regardless.
Can a minor book a court?
Only if the club's booking template allows minor bookings. A guardian must place the booking on behalf of the minor and must have “can book courts” enabled on the minor's profile.
What if a court is blocked by an event?
Courts assigned to events are automatically blocked from public booking during the event time. They appear as unavailable in the booking grid.
